Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-10

This site uses first-party essential cookies required for the pages to work and — only with your consent — Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics. It also uses Vercel Analytics, a cookieless statistics tool that collects no personal data.

A banner lets you accept or reject statistics cookies. Until you consent, Google Analytics sets no cookies (Google Consent Mode v2, defaulting to “denied”). You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

Google Analytics 4 (statistics cookies, consent-based)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. GA4 is loaded with consent denied by default (Consent Mode v2): it sets no cookies and collects nothing until you press “Accept”. If you reject, no _ga cookie is set. The IP is anonymised. You can withdraw consent anytime from “Cookie preferences”.

Vercel Analytics (cookieless)

Vercel Analytics measures visits in aggregate and without cookies: it uses no persistent identifiers and collects no personal data. For this reason it runs on all pages without requiring consent.

Google Maps — third-party cookies only on your action

On the room pages the map is click-to-load: until you press “Show map”, no Google content is loaded and no third-party cookie is set. Pressing the button consents to loading Google Maps, which may set its own cookies under Google's policy. That is why no cookie banner is needed: no non-essential cookie is set without an explicit action from you.

Session cookies used

  • NEXT_LOCALE — next-intl session cookie that remembers the chosen language. Expires when the browser closes.
  • Anonymous session ID (stored in sessionStorage, not in a cookie) — a client-side UUID used to group anonymous events within a single browsing session. Not sent to external servers in Phase 1.

How to manage

Cookies and sessionStorage can be cleared in your browser settings. Removing them may affect language preference memory.
